The best honest preparation tool is a progress log, not an invented practice exam. The checked community source describes the size and threshold of the exam but does not publish a complete official question set.

Build your own topic list

After an attempt, write down only what you personally observed: a topic name, your confidence, and whether you want to review it. Do not copy a remembered prompt into a public answer bank.

Useful neutral categories include:

  • signs you want to review
  • driving rules you want to review
  • route or terminal knowledge
  • vehicle condition checks

These are organizational labels, not claims about the exam’s exact category distribution.

Log each attempt

Record correct answers if the game shows them, total questions, and the date. The tracker calculates a percentage and shows whether the score reaches the community-documented 80 percent threshold. It does not infer which hidden questions were wrong.

Review weak areas

Set each topic to new, reviewing, or ready. The progress summary counts states without assigning a fake score. If the game changes, clear the local tracker and start a new versioned record.

Open the LTO Study Tracker to begin. Read the license guide for the exam and compliance split, then use the roadworthiness checklist for the vehicle.

Frequently asked questions

Does the tracker include exam answers?

No. The checked source does not provide a complete official bank, so the tracker only stores player-defined study topics and attempt results.

Where is tracker data stored?

The browser stores it locally on the current device. The clear button deletes the saved tracker state.
